Work ribbing (see scarf pattern) over 12 sts and 10 rows to measure 10 cm / 4 in wide and 11 cm / 4,33 in high.

This section is worked in rounds that are closed, turn after each round. Finish the hat with a large pompom and
cute braids.
- Scarf: The scarf is worked lengthwise in ribbed stitch pattern.
- 2ch at the beginning of a row do not count as a st. Work the first hdc in the first st, where you have also worked
2ch.

Row 2: RS : 2ch, 1hdcbl in first hdc, 1hdcbl in each of next 5hdc (7, 8, 9), end with 1hdc in last hdc, turn.

Braid the threads, and secure with a knot at the bottom.
Repeat and make a second braid on the other side of the brim.
Pompom:
Using the green (green, blue, blue) pompom maker, make a large pompom – 65 mm (65, 85, 85) diameter.
Attach the pompom on to the hat.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends.
